FLORAL INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION THANKS OUTGOING PRESIDENT
HARRISBURG- The Pennsylvania Floral Industry Association
(PFIA) thanks outgoing President, Ed Auman of Rine's Florist
in Selinsgrove , for his service to the board of directors
at the October board meeting held in Harrisburg. Auman
has served on the board of directors since 1999 and as
President since 2004.
As owner of Rine's Florist, which has
been serving the greater Snyder County area since 1915
and includes a gift and garden shop, and greenhouses,
Auman has greatly influenced the PFIA board of directors
and the floral industry as a whole. During his term,
PFIA began the Floral Expo, an education and design conference.
Auman also moved PFIA forward through pushing legislative

on the Hill' for members to meet with legislators. Hands-on
workshops and the promotion of design technique also flourished
while Auman sat as board president.
Incoming PFIA Board of Directors President,
Dave Mueller, states, "Ed Auman has made a profound impact on the board
of directors and PFIA by providing consistency while moving
forward in the industry." PFIA will welcome Mueller as
